The scheme is found within the commercial centre at Greenwich Peninsula, situated adjacent to the world famous O2 leisure venue. This green gateway links the O2’s Peninsula Square to Central Park and comprises large semi-mature tree planting, smaller semi-mature tree planting, herbaceous planting and turfing with wild flower areas. The 10 largest trees, 50cm girth Quercus robus, were lifted into position using a 132 tonne crane in one very busy but satisfying day.
